Oil Pump Replacement

REMOVAL
1. Remove oil pan. See procedure outlined in this section.
2. Remove oil pickup tube.
3. Remove timing chain cover. See procedure outlined in this section.

NOTE: The oil pump pressure relief valve can be serviced by removing the oil pan and oil pickup tube.

INSTALLATION
1. Prime oil pump before installation by filling rotor cavity with engine oil.
2. Follow the reverse procedure for installation.
