Valve Cover: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery.
2. Disconnect air tube from air cleaner and throttle body.
3. Remove intake manifold plenum.
4. To remove left cylinder head cover you must remove Distributorless Ignition System (DIS) coil.
5. Remove cylinder head cover bolts and remove cover.

INSTALLATION
1. Clean cylinder head and cover mating surfaces. Inspect cylinder head cover sealing surface for flatness. Install new gasket.
2. Install intake manifold plenum.
3. Install air tube from air cleaner to throttle body.
4. Connect battery.
