Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL-ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect electric lead to the RFI module.
2. Remove fan module to radiator fasteners and retaining clips.
3. Remove assembly from radiator.

FAN MOTOR
1. Remove the motor fasteners from support. Remove motor from support.
2. Reverse the above step for Installation. Torque the fan motor fasteners to 3 Nm (25 inch lbs.) right fan and 5 Nm (45 inch lbs.) left fan.

INSTALLATION-ASSEMBLY
1. Install assembly to radiator. Attach retaining clips and torque shroud to radiator fasteners to 5 Nm (45 inch lbs.).
2. Connect fan motor lead.
