Test 21A - Traction Control Valve Circuits
NOTE: You must perform Test 1-A, before proceedingWith this test.Test 21A: Repairing Traction Control Valve Circuits:

When Monitored:
Ignition on.
Set Condition:
The Controller Antilock Brakes CAB monitors the traction control valve solenoids. If the CAB detects an open or short solenoid driver circuit, the trouble code is set.
Possible Causes:
^ Valve power feed circuit code present
^ Loose connections in the valve solenoid circuits
^ Open or shorted valve solenoid coil
^ Loose connection between CAB and HCU
^ Failed CAB
ABS System:
ABS Pump Motor Assembly & Valves:
NOTE: When disconnecting or connecting connectors, always check for terminal damage, pushed out pins or miswired.
NOTE: After completion of steps, or completion of test, perform Verification Test VER-1A.Verification Test VER-1A - ABS
