NAME OF CODE:
Pump Motor Circuit Not Working Properly

When Monitored:
Ignition on.

Set Condition:
The Controller Antilock Brakes CAB monitors the pump relay output at cavity 34 at all times for proper operation. If the pump is off at the end of an ABS stop when the relay is commanded on through cavity 3, or if the pump is on when the relay is off, the trouble code is set.

Possible Causes:
^ Loose connections in the pump relay circuits
^ Open pump relay fuse
^ Failed pump relay coil or contacts
^ Open pump/motor relay control circuit
^ Open system relay output circuit to the pump relay coil
^ Failed pump motor
^ Failed CAB
^ Open pump motor ground circuit
^ Open pump relay output circuit
^ Open pump monitor circuit at CAB cavity 34

NOTE: When disconnecting or connecting connectors, always check for terminal damage, pushed out pins or miswired.
