Procedures
1. Place suitable match marks on all propeller shaft components where disassembly will occur.2. Place suitable supports under shaft sections to prevent over flexing of components during removal.
3. Remove bolts at flange yoke.

4. Remove nuts and bolts from center bearing(s).
NOTE:
Note position and location of center bearing alignment spacers and shims as equipped.
5. Remove shaft from vehicle, to prevent damage to joints and boot, do not allow over flexing of shaft.
6. Install output shaft blocker plug, tool No. MB991193 or equivalent into transfer assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Ensure alignment of all match marks.
b. Torque differential flange yoke bolts to 22-25 ft. lbs.
c. Torque center bearing mount nuts and bolts to 22 ft. lbs.
