Remove strut assembly in numbered sequence.

DISASSEMBLE & ASSEMBLE

Fig. 14 Strut Disassembly:

Disassemble strut in numbered sequence noting the following:
1. Compress spring using spring compression tools No. MB991237 and MB991239, or equivalents, to ease in disassembly and assembly.

INSTALLATION

Reverse removal procedure to install, noting the following:
1. Ensure spring is properly seated in upper and lower spring seat when installing.

2. Install strut upper bracket as shown, then tighten strut rod nut to specifications.
