Fig. 31 Manual Steering Rack & Pinion Removal:

Remove rack & pinion in numbered sequence, noting the following:
1. Turn rack completely to right, the disconnect gearbox from crossmember.
2. While tilting gearbox downward, remove from left side.
3. Reverse procedure to install.
