Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Scan Tool Connection:

DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION - DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES CHECK
Connect the scan tool to the data link connector and then check diagnostic trouble codes.

Caution: Always turn the ignition switch OFF before connecting or disconnecting the scan tool.

ERASING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES
Connect the scan tool to the data link connector, then erase the diagnostic trouble codes.
