Refer to Brake Rotor/Disc/Specifications for runout specifications.1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheels.
2. If applicable, ensure wheel bearings are properly adjusted.
3. Install lug nuts to ensure rotor does not move.
4. Mount a dial indicator to a convenient part of the vehicle, such as steering knuckle, tie rod, or caliper housing.
5. Position dial indicator plunger so it contacts the disc at a point one inch from the outer edge.
6. Rotate the rotor and note the dial indicator readings. Perform this inspection on both inboard and outboard rotor faces.
