Code No. 54, 86 - 4th gear incorrect ratio

Description
If the value resulting from dividing the PG-A output (input shaft rotation speed) by the 4th gear ratio does not match the PG-B output (output shaft rotation speed) after 4th gear is engaged, diagnostic trouble code No.54 is output. In addition, if related diagnostic trouble codes (Nos. 51, 52, 53 and 54) are output 4 times, there is an incorrect ratio, fail-safe code No.86 is output and the vehicle is locked in 3rd gear (D) or 2nd gear (2, L) as a fail-safe measure.
