Battery Connections:

System Operation and Code Output
This diagnostic trouble code is output if there is a malfunction in the SRS-ECU non-volatile memory (EEPROM) or A/D converter.

Probable Cause
- Malfunction of SRS-ECU

Testing - Corrective Action
- Replace the SRS-ECU.

Caution: Turn the ignition key to the "LOCK" position, disconnect the negative battery cable and tape the terminal. Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the battery cable before doing any further work. (Refer to Service Precautions)
