Rear Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

Door Glass Run Weatherstrip:

FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN WEATHERSTRIP REMOVAL
1. Remove door glass.
2. Remove upper door trim retainer channel.
3. Remove side view mirror.
4. Pull weatherstrip from lower rear channel above door latch.
5. Remove screws holding applique to window frame.
6. Separate applique from door.
7. Disengage push-in fastener holding run weatherstrip to window frame.
8. Pull run weatherstrip from window frame channel.

INSTALLATION
1. Push run weatherstrip into window frame channel.
2. Engage push-in fastener to hold run weatherstrip to window frame.
3. Place applique in position on door.
4. Install screws to hold applique to window frame.
5. Push weatherstrip into lower rear channel above door latch.
6. Install side view mirror.
7. Install upper door trim retainer channel.
8. Install door glass.

Front Door Primary Weatherstrip:

FRONT DOOR PRIMARY WEATHERSTRIP REMOVAL
1. Open front door.
2. Pull primary weatherstrip from channel around upper window frame.
3. Using a fork-type prying tool, disengage push-in fasteners holding weatherstrip to lower door end frames and bottom panel.
4. Separate primary weatherstrip from door.

INSTALLATION
1. Place primary weatherstrip in position on door.
2. Engage push-in fasteners to hold weatherstrip to lower door end frames and bottom panel.
3. Insert primary weatherstrip into channel around upper window frame.
4. Verify door alignment and seal

Front Door Secondary Weatherstrip:

FRONT DOOR SECONDARY WEATHERSTRIP REMOVAL
1. Open front door.
2. Loosen door opening sill plate.
3. Pull secondary weatherstrip from fence around door opening.

INSTALLATION
1. Position splice in weatherstrip at center of door opening sill.
2. Push secondary weatherstrip onto fence around door opening.
3. Tighten door opening sill plate.
4. Verify secondary weatherstrip sealing.

Front Door Inner Belt Weatherstrip:

REAR DOOR INNER BELT WEATHERSTRIP REMOVAL
1. Remove trim panel from rear door.
2. Lift inner belt weatherstrip upward to disengage channel from top of inner door panel.
3. Separate belt weatherstrip from door.

INSTALLATION
1. Place belt weatherstrip In position on door.
2. Push inner belt weatherstrip downward to engage channel on top of inner door panel.
3. Install door trim panel.

Door Glass Run Weatherstrip:

REAR DOOR GLASS RUN WEATHERSTRIP REMOVAL
1. Remove door trim panel and upper retainer channel.
2. Remove door glass.
3. Pull weatherstrip from lower rear channel above door latch.
4. Disengage push-in fastener holding run weatherstrip to window frame.
5. Pull run weatherstrip from window frame channel.

INSTALLATION
1. Insert run weatherstrip into window frame channel.
2. Engage push-in fastener to hold run weatherstrip to window frame.
3. Insert weatherstrip into lower rear channel above door latch.
4. Install door glass.
5. Install upper retainer channel and door trim panel.
