Trunk Ajar Lamp

Power for the trunk ajar lamp is provided on the M1 circuit. Ground for the lamp is provided through the case grounded switch located in the truck latch. This switch is normally OPEN.

When the trunk is ajar the switch closes completing a path to ground. This causes the lamp in the message center to illuminate, and the trunk lamp to illuminate.
