Message Center

The message center, located in the center of the instrument panel, provides the operator with warning lamps relating to vehicle operation. Power for the Anti-Lock lamp, Traction Control Active lamp, Traction Control lamp, Low Washer Fluid lamp, and the Door Ajar lamp is provided on circuit G5. This circuit is protected by a 5 Amp fuse located in cavity 14 of the junction block. Power for the fuse is supplied on circuit A21 from the ignition switch. This circuit is HOT in the START and RUN positions only.

Power for the A21 circuit is supplied by circuit A1. This circuit originates in the Power Distribution Center (PDC), and is protected by a 20 Amp fuse located in cavity A.

Power for the trunk ajar lamp is provided by the M1 circuit. This is the Ignition-Off Draw (IOD) circuit and is protected by a 10 Amp fuse located in cavity 13 of the junction block. Power for the fuse is supplied by the A7 circuit. This circuit originates in the PDC and is protected by a 20 Amp fuse located in cavity G.
