Sunroof / Moonroof Windguard: Service and Repair

NOTE: The numbered call-outs in the following service procedure refer the numbered parts found in the exploded view diagram.

REMOVAL
1. Sunroof in open position.
2. Remove screws (31) holding track access plugs (33) to sunroof housing on each side of wind deflector (34).
3. Separate wind deflector from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place wind deflector in position on vehicle.
2. Install screws to hold track access plugs to sunroof housing on each side of wind deflector.

CAUTION: Rear edge of track plug and screw heads must not be higher than the sunroof track. Damage can result.

3. Verify sunroof operation.
