Sunroof Glass Panel Removal

NOTE: The numbered call-outs in the following service procedure refer the numbered parts found in the exploded view diagram.

REMOVAL
1. Open sunroof to the vent position.
2. Remove both trough guide link covers (8).
3. Remove nuts (21) holding glass panel to guide brackets (19).
4. Separate glass panel from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Verify that sunroof mechanism is in vent position.
2. Place sunroof glass panel in position in roof opening.
3. Install nuts (21) to hold glass panel to guide brackets, but do not tighten.
4. Align glass panel as necessary. Refer to Glass Panel Alignment procedure located in Sunroof/Adjustments.
5. Tighten nuts (21) holding glass panel to 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.), and verify glass panel alignment and operation.
6. Install both trough guide link covers (8).
