Verification Test VER-1A - Cruise Control

Inspect the vehicle to ensure that all engine components are connected. Reassemble and reconnect components as necessary.

Inspect the engine oil for fuel contamination. if it Is contaminated, change the oil and filter.

Attempt to start the engine.

If the engine Is unable to start, check all pertinent Technical Service Bulletins and return to TEST FC-1A if necessary.

If the engine is able to start and the powertrain control module has been changed, the repair is now complete.

If the engine is not able to start and the powertrain control module has not been changed. connect the Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB) to the data link connector and erase faults. The repair is now complete.
