Fluid Level Switch Open (LTCS only)

When monitored: Continuously.

Set condition: The CAB continuously monitors the system fluid level via the fluid level switch in the HCU reservoir. When the HCU reservoir is properly filled, the fluid level switch is closed. If the fluid level falls below an acceptable level, the fluid level switch will open. The CAB sends a signal out through the FLS2 circuit on pin # 17. This signal returns through the closed FLS and FLS wires to pin # 35. If the CAB does not receive the proper signal, this code is set.

Possible causes:

> Low brake fluid
> Brake fluid level switch # 2 open
> Brake fluid level switch # 2 signal circuit open
> Brake fluid level switch # 2 ground circuit open
> Brake fluid level switch # 2 signal circuit shorted to B(+)
> Brake fluid level switch # 2 ground circuit shorted to B(+)
