INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS
Fuel Pressure Regulator Installation
1. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to a new 0-ring and insert it to the fuel rail carefully.
CAUTION: Do not let the engine oil get into the fuel rail.
2. If the fuel pressure regulator does not move smoothly, the 0-ring may be folded. Then, remove the regulator to check the 0-ring for damage.
Injector Installation
1. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the 0-ring.
CAUTION: Do not let the engine oil get into the fuel rail.
2. While turning the injector to the left and right, install it to the fuel rail.
3. Check to be sure that the injector turns smoothly. If it does not turn smoothly, the 0-ring may be trapped, remove the injector and then reinsert it into the fuel rail and check again.
High Pressure Fuel Hose Connection
When connecting the high pressure fuel hose to the fuel rail, apply a small amount of engine oil to the hose union, and then insert, being careful not to damage the 0-ring.
CAUTION: Do not let the engine oil get into the fuel rail.
POST-INSTALLATION OPERATION
1. Battery and Air Intake Hose Installation
2. Fuel Leakage Inspection
