42 FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT VOLTS TOO HIGH *

This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is stored when the voltage at pin 13 is greater than the maximum allowed voltage.

This malfunction could possibly be caused by problems with any of the following components:

- Fuel level sending unit
- Fuel level sending unit wiring and related connectors (open)
- Fuel level gauge (on instrument cluster)

* This DTC will be added to the Powertrain Control Module's software during a mid-year running change.
