NOTE:
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO THOSE VEHICLES BUILT AFTER 7/25/93 (MDH 07-25-XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Rapid cycling of the ATC Control Head LED's between the floor position and the mix position.
DISCUSSION:
This condition can occur if the ATC system is in full "Auto" and the A/C compressor is turned off. This is possible by pressing "Auto" followed by "A/C" on the control head.
During ATC operation at moderate to high (greater than 40 degrees F) exterior ambient temperature conditions, the ATC system is designed to provide maximum comfort to the vehicle occupants only if the A/C compressor is turned on. Customers should be advised of this condition and encouraged to select a mode setting manually if they feel the need to operate the vehicle with the A/C compressor turned off.
