Cleaning and Inspection

Do not use solvents to clean boot, wipe clean only.
1. Using a suitable solvent, clean, then dry joint components.
2. Check splines of shaft and joint for wear or damage.
3. Check ball grooves and balls for uneven wear, damage or rust.
4. Check cage for wear, rust or damage.
5. Inspect boot for tears, deterioration and chafing.
