Removal and Replacement

1. Remove companion flange to driveshaft bolts.

2. Remove driveshaft from differential carrier using a suitable pry bar.
3. Remove circlip from end of driveshaft.
4. Remove oil seal using a suitable oil seal remover tool.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install oil seal using suitable oil seal installer tool.
b. When installing driveshaft, ensure not to damage oil seal by the driveshaft splines.
c. Install driveshaft with the two part serration on righthand differential side.
Driveshaft can be identified by the color of the BJ boot band:
Lefthand = Yellow
Righthand = Orange
