Rear Axle Replacement

Fig. 4 Axle Shaft Replacement:

Remove rear axle hub in numbered sequence, noting the following:
1. Remove rear speed sensor as follows:
a. Remove rear toothed rotor, then the clip.
b. Remove cable band, then the connection to speed sensor.
c. Remove rear speed sensor and bracket.
2. Suspend caliper assembly with a piece of wire. Do not hang caliper by brake hose.
3. Press off bearing using suitable press.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
