Disassembly

LOCK NUT REMOVAL




1. Unlock the lock nut. (Straighten the bent nut.)




2. Hold the driven bevel gear in a vise and use the special tool to remove the lock nut.




DRIVEN BEVEL GEAR ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

Use a press to remove the driven bevel gear assembly.




OUTER RACE REMOVAL

Remove the outer race, striking lightly with a screwdriver, etc..
