Remove strut assembly in numbered sequence, noting the following:
1. Do not pry brake hose and line away from strut.

Disassemble strut in numbered sequence, noting the following:

Fig. 7 Compressing Spring:

1. Compress coil spring then remove locknut.

Fig. 8 Installing Dust Cover:

2. Join dust cover and bump rubber.
3. Line up holes in spring upper and lower seats.

INSTALLATION

Reverse removal procedure to install, noting the following:

Fig. 9 Insulator Position:

1. Install strut assembly insulator as shown.
