Steering Wheel: Service and Repair

Fig. 6 Steering Wheel Removal:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove horn pad attaching screw, then the horn pad by pressing upward.
3. Remove steering wheel attaching bolt.
4. Remove steering wheel using wheel puller.
CAUTION:
Do not use hammer as this may damage the collapsible mechanism.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
