Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Ensure (ECU) power supply is left on until checking is completed.

Fig. 12 Diagnostic Harness Connector:

1. Connect a voltmeter between ground and auto-cruise control terminal of diagnosis harness connector, located on lower left side of instrument panel.

2. There are up to six diagnosis codes, including one for normal condition. Check voltmeter readings with display patterns shown. Then refer to the appropriate diagnostic chart indicated.
