SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Loose floor shifter knob on vehicles built before 2-1-93 (MDH 02-01-XX).

PARTS REQUIRED:

1 Set Screw 6503406

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves replacing the shifter knob locking set screw.

1. Place the gear selector in neutral.

2. Remove the set screw holding the gear shifter knob to the shifter.

3. Install the revised set screw.
