SUBJECT:
Excessive Floor Shifter Effort



MODELS:

1993 (LH) Intrepid/Vision/Concorde


SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

On some early built floor shift equipped vehicles, the floor shift slider may bind against the center console bezel. This condition may cause high shift effort.


DIAGNOSIS:

If any binding is present in the floor shift slider, proceed with the following repair before attempting any other repairs.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This repair involves replacing the center console bezel with a revised part. Replace the existing center console bezel with the revised bezel as outlined in the 1993 Concorde/Intrepid/Vision Service Manual, Publication No. 81-270-3140, page 23-26.


POLICY:
Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
