Excess Fuel Tank Reserve

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The 18 gallon fuel tank will take only 10 to 14 gallons when gauge reads empty.
DIAGNOSIS:
Using the Mopar Diagnostic System (MDS), or the Scan Tool (DRB) with the 1993 Concord/New Yorker/Intrepid/Vision Body Diagnostic Manual (Publication No. 81-699-0421) verify that the fuel gauge system is functioning properly. If Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) are present, record them on the repair order for future reference, and repair as necessary. If no codes are present and the system is functioning properly, continue with the repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This repair involves replacing the fuel level sensor.
Replace the fuel level sensor as described on Page 14-4 of the 1993 Concord/Intrepid/Vision Service Manual (Publication No. 81-270-3140).
POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
