Rear Assist Handle/Reading Lamp Service

DISCUSSION:
A reading lamp and switch are incorporated into the rear assist handles. Anytime it is necessary to remove the assist handle for component service, care must be taken to route and install the wiring properly to the back side of the assist handle. Failure to do this could result in abrasion damage to the wiring from the roof sheetmetal or assist handle mounting screws.
