Fault Code (FC) Tests

Tip: The battery must be fully charged for these tests to be valid.

1. Attempt to start the engine. Crank for up to 10 seconds if necessary.

2. Connect the scan tool to the data link connector. Write down any fault messages that are displayed.

3. If the scan tool screen is blank or has a scan tool error message, go to TEST NS-6A.

4. If fault messages are displayed, refer to the fault code list below for the appropriate test.

5. If there are no faults dispayed, refer to Speed Control problems SC-NF-1
