Park/Neutral Position (Inhibitor) Switch (A/T Only)

Inhibitor Switch (A/T) Circuit:

PURPOSE
The Neutral Park Position (Inhibitor) switch, detects whether the transmission is positioned in park or neutral. The ECM monitors the automatic transmission load and operates the Idle Speed Control (ISC) servo to maintain optimum idle speed.

Located on the transaxle.
