Chart No. 3, Resume Switch Circuit Test

The speed set prior to cancellation should be resumed when the resume switch is pushed (ON) even if the constant speed control has been cancelled.
When the Resume switch is pushed and held On position, while the vehicle is traveling at the previously set constant speed, vehicle speed will increase. When the switch is released, vehicle should remain at that speed.
If the Main switch is turned off or vehicle speed falls below 25 mph set speed should not resume, even if the Resume switch remains in the ON position, .
Current flows to the control unit, Resume switch and ground.
Check Resume switch input, ECU terminal No. 18. No voltage should be present with the switch in the ON position. Voltage should be approximately 12 volts with the switch in the OFF position.
