2 WHEEL DRIVE

Remove stabilizer bar in numbered sequence, noting the following:
1. Front exhaust pipe must be removed.
2. Pull both ends of stabilizer bar to rear of driveshaft.
3. Move right side of bar until it clears lower arm.
4. Pull stabilizer bar out right side.
5. Check stabilizer bar ball joint starting torque; starting torque should be 15-28 lb-in. If starting torque is outside of specified torque, replace stabilizer link.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

ALL WHEEL DRIVE MODELS

Remove stabilizer bar in numbered sequence, noting the following:
1. Disconnect coupling of knuckle and lower arm on right side.
2. Pull sides of bar between driveshaft and lower arm.
3. Reverse procedure to install.
