Purge Control Solenoid

PURPOSE
Permits purging of the carbon canister.

CONSTRUCTION
The Purge Control Solenoid Valve is an electromechanical, vacuum switching valve which is controlled by the ECM.

OPERATION
When energized, electromagnetism opens the valve, connecting a passage between the two ports.
