Cruise Control Servo: Testing and Inspection

1. Turn ignition ON position
2. Turn speed control switch ON, immediately after the speed control relay becomes energized. Test for battery voltage.
3. Disconnect 4-way connector from speed control servo. Using a voltmeter, test pin 2 on connector. If voltage is 12 volts, proceed to step 5.
4. If voltage is less than 12 volts, disconnect 6-way connector of stop lamp switch. Measure voltage at dash harness circuit No. 42 at brake lamp switch. If voltage is 12 volts, refer to STOP LAMP SWITCH TEST.
5. Measure voltage at speed control relay connector H4. If battery voltage is present, repair circuit between relay and brake switch.
6. If no voltage is present, check for fault code 77. If fault code 77 is found, refer to SPEED CONTROL RELAY TEST.
7. If code 77 is not present, refer to SPEED CONTROL SWITCH TEST.
