Radiator Cooling Fan Motor Relay: Testing and Inspection

Fig. 36 Radiator Fan Motor Relay:

1. Remove radiator fan relay from relay box located at RH side of engine compartment.
2. Check for continuity between terminals 1 and 3. If continuity exists, replace relay.
3. Check for continuity between terminals 2 and 4. If no continuity exists, replace relay.
4. Supply battery voltage to terminals 2 and 4. Check for continuity between terminals 1 and 3. If no continuity exists, replace relay.
