Throttle Full Close Switch: Description and Operation

The Idle Position Switch is a contact type switch and is installed at the tip of the Idle Speed Control (ISC) Servo. The switch indicates accelerator operation by opening a set of contacts when the throttle lever is moved from the idle position. When the driver releases the accelerator pedal, the throttle lever rests on a push-pin at the end of the ISC and the contacts are closed.
