The inhibitor switch also functions as the switch for the starter. If the selector handle is moved to the N position during constant speed, a cancel signal is sent to the control unit, cancelling the constant speed travel.
Measure voltage at terminal 2 on 1990 models or terminal No. 1 on 1991 models, check inhibitor switch at all times. Voltage should measure 12 volts.
