Indicator Lamp Identification




Base

Indicators - Base Instrument Cluster:






The Base Instrument Cluster (IC) (also known as the Instrument Panel Cluster/IPC) has provisions for up to 22 International Control and Display Symbol icon hard indicators. Some of the indicators are automatically configured when the IC is connected to the vehicle electrical system for compatibility with certain optional equipment or equipment required for regulatory purposes in certain markets. While each IC may have provisions for indicators to support every available option, the configurable indicators will not be functional in a vehicle that does not have the equipment that an indicator supports.

Indicators - Base Instrument Cluster:






The Premium Instrument Cluster (IC) (also known as the Instrument Panel Cluster/IPC) has provisions for up to 13 International Control and Display Symbol icon hard indicators and another 13 soft indicators. The soft indicators are displayed within one of four rectangular boxes along the lower edge of the electronic display unit (9). The far right box (7) is reserved for the brake indicator and the center right box (8) is reserved for the cruise indicator. The center left box (10) is reserved for amber soft indicators and the far left box (11) is reserved for red soft indicators.
