Instrument Panel Cover - Removal

REMOVAL





1. With the help of an assistant, remove the instrument panel and place on bench, Instrument Panel - Removal.





2. Remove the A/C heater control faceplate (2) from the I/P.





3. Remove and disconnect the telematics gateway assembly (1), Telematics Gateway Module - Removal.





4. With the help of an assistant, turn the I/P upright.
5. Remove the two screws (1) that secure the telematics gateway assembly reinforcement to the I/P cover.





6. Remove the passenger side airbag, Passenger Air Bag - Removal.
7. Remove the defroster duct, Defroster Duct - Removal.
8. Remove the speakers (1) from the I/P, Speaker - Removal.
9. Remove the sun sensor (2) from the I/P, Sun Sensor - Removal.





10. Remove the two I/P cover to structure side screws (1). Repeat for the opposite side.





11. Remove the screws (1) that attach the I/P cover to structure in the instrument cluster area.
12. Remove the screws (2) that attach the I/P cover to structure in the steering column area.





13. Remove the screw (1) that attaches the I/P cover to the structure in the lower center stack area, on the driver side.





14. Remove the two screws (1) from the module.
15. Remove the two I/P to structure bolts (2).





16. Remove the seven screws (1) attaching the I/P cover to the structure in the glove box area.





17. Disconnect and remove the WIN module.
18. Remove the I/P cover (1) from the structure.
