Air Outlet - Installation






INSTALLATION

CENTER IP OUTLETS

NOTE: Take the proper precautions to protect the face of center bezel from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.





1. Position each air outlet (2) to the instrument panel center bezel (4).
2. Engage the four retaining tabs (1 and 3) that secure each air outlet to the center bezel. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged to the outlet.

NOTE: Make sure that the air outlets are properly aligned to the ducts within the instrument panel and that the foam seals on the outlets are properly installed.

3. Install the center bezel Instrument Panel - Installation.
4. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

OUTBOARD IP OUTLETS

NOTE: Underside of instrument panel cover shown. Air duct and instrument panel support removed from view for clarity.






NOTE: Make sure that the air outlet is properly aligned to the duct within the instrument panel and that the foam seal on the outlet is properly installed.

1. Position the air outlet (1) into the instrument panel and connect it to the duct.
2. Engage the four retaining tabs (2 and 4) that secure the air outlet to the instrument panel cover (3).
3. When servicing the driver side air outlet, install the instrument cluster Instrument Cluster - Installation.
4. When servicing the passenger side air outlet, install the glove box trim panel and glove box Instrument Panel Glove Box - Installation.
5. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

FLOOR CONSOLE OUTLETS

NOTE: Take the proper precautions to protect the face of the floor console rear trim panel from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.





1. Position the air outlet (2) onto the floor console trim panel (1).
2. Engage the retaining tabs (3) that secure the air outlet to the trim panel. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged to the outlet.

NOTE: Make sure that the air outlet is properly aligned to the duct within the floor console and that the foam seal on the duct is properly installed.

3. Install the trim panel (1) onto the back of the floor console Floor Console - Installation.
4. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
