Rear
REMOVAL
RWD
1. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance.
2. Remove the two bolts (2) from the rear engine mount isolator.
3. Using a suitable jack stand and a block of wood positioned under the transmission oil pan, raise the transmission until the weight is off of the isolator (approximately 5 mm).
4. Remove four bolts (3) and the crossmember (1).
5. Remove four bolts (2) and the rear engine mount isolator (1).
6. If required, remove four bolts (1) and the rear engine mount bracket (2).
AWD
1. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance.
2. Remove the two bolts (2) from the rear engine mount isolator.
3. Using a suitable jack stand and a block of wood positioned under the transfer case, raise the transmission until the weight is off of the isolator (approximately 5 mm).
4. Remove four bolts (3) and the crossmember (1).
5. Remove four bolts (2) and the rear engine mount isolator (1).
6. If required, remove four bolts (2) and the rear engine mount bracket (1).
