Center Floor Console

CENTER FLOOR CONSOLE

FULL SIZE CONSOLE





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the center floor console (1) from the vehicle.Floor Console - Removal.
3. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the connector receptacle (4) for the Low Frequency (LF) antenna (3) on the underside of the console.
4. Remove the two screws (2) that secure the antenna to the underside of the console.
5. Remove the antenna from the console.

MINI CONSOLE - POLICE





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Unsnap and remove the cover (1) from the front of the center floor mini console.
3. Disengage the wire harness retainer from the Low Frequency (LF) antenna mounting bracket (2) on the top of the floor panel transmission tunnel beneath the cover of the mini console.
4. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the connector receptacle for the LF antenna.
5. Remove the two nuts (3) that secure the LF antenna mounting bracket and, if equipped, the front bracket of the extruded aluminum equipment rack (4) to the two weld studs (5) on the top of the floor panel transmission tunnel.
6. Remove the LF antenna and mounting bracket from the vehicle as a unit.





7. Remove the two plastic push-in fasteners (1) that secure the LF antenna (2) to the mounting bracket (3).
8. Separate the LF antenna from the mounting bracket.
