Transmission Input Shaft - Disassembly

DISASSEMBLY






NOTE: This is a right hand thread with a thread locker used. The output shafts will use a left hand thread with thread locker.

1. Remove the input shaft bearing retaining bolt (2).





2. Using Bearing Splitter 1130 (5) , Plug 8590 (2) and a Press (1) remove the input shaft roller bearing (3) along with its retainer (4).





3. Using a Press (1) and Bearing Splitter 1130 (4) remove the input shaft inner race (3).
