ACM Warning Lamp Circuit Open/Shorted (Active)

SYMPTOM
ACM, WARNING LAMP CIRCUIT OPEN/SHORT - ACTIVE

WHEN MONITORED
When the ignition is ON, the ACM monitors the PCI Bus for a message from the MIC containing the airbag warning lamp status Ok, Open or Short. The MIC transmit the message one time per second in response to the ACM lamp ON/OFF message.

SET CONDITION
The code is set if the lamp state is open for 2 consecutive messages or 2 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- MIC, communication failure
- Airbag warning indicator CKT open/short
- ACM, Airbag warning indicator circuit open/short
