SBEC Messages Not Received

Test 1:

SYMPTOM
SBEC MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition in the Run/Start position.

SET CONDITION
The Instrument Cluster detects no PCI Bus message from the SBEC for 20 (twenty) seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- SBEC message not received
